Facebook Global Security Summit — Intro Video Series

Every summit needs a moment that tells the room this is going to be different. For Facebook's 2019 Global Security Summit, that moment was the opener.

Working with the creative team, I led the development of a series of cinematic intro videos to kick off the 3-day internal event. The Back to the Future theme gave us a playful but purposeful hook — connecting Global Security's mission with forward-thinking strategy in a way that felt memorable, not forced.

I owned the work end-to-end: storyboarding the concepts, building and customizing a 3D DeLorean model to fit the event's tone, handling all lighting, texturing, animation, and layering in VFX and sound design to push the immersive feel. The result was a series of openers that energized the room before a single speaker took the stage.
